Bad Lip Reading is a YouTube channel specialising in parodying sport, politics and film with satirical and scarily accurate interpretations of what the characters involved really said.

How better to get in the mind of a Star Wars character then than with the help of Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill. Here’s the channel’s excellent take on Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens – take a careful listen of the voice-over for Harrison Ford’s character, Han Solo.

Amazing. Hamill has absolutely nailed his Harrison Ford there.

That’s not that surprising though, the Star Wars star has already shown his talents as a voice actor with his role playing The Joker in DC Comic’s Batman cartoon series.

It’s not hard to see why Bad Lip Reading has over six million subscribers either. The addition of voices to the normally mute BB-8 and Chewbacca are disarmingly hilarious. Meanwhile, their take on Kylo Ren, played by Adam Driver in the film, is actually pretty chilling – one commenter on the video noted the antagonist was “scarier and creepier here than the real thing” and we tend to agree.

The channel dedicated the video to Carrie Fisher, who played Princess Leia, after her death last year.
