Amber Rudd was always going to be in for a tough time as a stand-in for Theresa May at the live BBC Election Debate.
But she quickly became the target of serious ridicule from the people watching at home when they got an insight into her understanding of the rules of Monopoly.
Rudd, when talking about Jeremy Corbyn’s “fantasy economics,” said: “It’s as though he thinks it’s some sort of game, a game of Monopoly perhaps.
“Where you ask the Banker for the red money to buy the electrics, the green money to buy the railways, and the yellow money to buy the gas works.”
And people just had so many questions.
Has Amber Rudd ever played monopoly?

Monopoly is a British staple so her misunderstanding of the rules didn’t go down well.
I reckon Amber Rudd would be rubbish to play Monopoly with #BBCdebate

The Home Secretary took the place of Theresa May in the debate who said she wanted to focus on meeting voters rather than “squabbling” with other politicians.
