Good news for pancake lovers because you can now bathe in maple syrup

And where else would this be possible other than Japan?
And where else would this be possible other than Japan?

Pancake day is now long gone, and we’ll all have to wait nearly a year before we can fully indulge in our love for all things pancake. Let’s face it: this sucks.

But fear no more! This hot-springs theme park in Japan is offering something slightly special for all pancake enthusiasts: a maple syrup bath.

That’s right, you are able to indulge in the fluffy, buttery goodness… without all the carbs.

In order to do so, you’ll have to take a trip to the Yunessun Spa Resort in Hakone. With a giant fake stack of pancakes hanging over you as you soak in the maple-smelling goodness, what’s not to love?

And don’t worry, the water is just the fragrance of maple syrup with hints of vanilla – bathing in the real stuff would get pretty sticky.

You’ll have to book your flights quickly though, because the Morinaga Hot Cake Bath is only temporary and will be open until April 25.Don’t worry too much if you miss it, because there are plenty of other themed baths to swim about in at the spa. Wine flavoured bath, anyone?

Safe to say people are pretty taken with the idea.

It sounds like a pretty good night out to us.
