Everybody stay calm, because today marks a national day for two of our favourite things: Yorkshire puddings and Nutella.
I can't cope. It's Yorkshire Pudding Day AND Nutella Day on the same day. Obvs the best day EVER! #yorkshirepuddingday #nutelladay

This got us thinking: could the two glorious things be combined? At first it seemed like an impossible task – the culinary Everest – but a few brave souls have been forging the way in Nutella Yorkshire puds. Some people like to keep it really simple and just dump a whole lot of Nutella on a Yorkshire pudding. It might not be the most aesthetically pleasing thing ever, but no complaints here.

Whereas others like to go down the more gourmet route.

And one person really pushed the flavour combination boat out by filling their pud with cream cheese, Nutella, bacon and chilli flakes. We’re not entirely sold on that one, but we could be persuaded.
If it wasn’t already a Sunday we would have had to demand a national holiday to properly celebrate this glorious day. Maybe we’ll just have to take tomorrow off to deal with our food coma.
