The world is gearing up for Donald Trump’s inauguration on Friday, and many of us don’t know what to expect.
The TV reviewer of the New Sunday Herald had quite a good idea though, and wrote this biting and hilarious preview.

“After a long absence, The Twilight Zone returns with one of the most ambitious, expensive and controversial productions in broadcast history,” the review said.Damien Love, the reviewer who wrote it, called the inauguration a “huge interactive virtual reality project” and concluded that it was “a flawed piece, but a disturbing glimpse of the horrors we could stumble into, if we’re not careful”.The Herald’s editor, Neil Mackay, tweeted out a photo of the piece asking people to share so the Donald himself would see it.

There’s no sign that Trump’s seen the review yet, but given his habit of tweeting out constant criticism of US comedy show SNL and news channel CNN, we could expect him to tweet his own damning review of the Scottish paper soon enough. If you want to watch the inauguration and pretend it’s just a reboot of a popular 60s sci-fi horror, it’s on BBC One at 4pm on Friday.
