The Derry Girls cast clearly made quite the impression on the Great British Bake Off crew when they took part in a new year's special.
Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Nicola Coughlan, Jamie-Lee O’Donnell, Dylan Llewellyn and Siobhan McSweeney competed in a festive edition of the baking show and afterwards host Sandi Toksvig said they were “five of the most troublesome people we have ever had in the tent” but added: “But I don’t think we have ever had more fun.”
Judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood crowned Saoirse-Monica Jackson the winner.
This morning Prue Leith tweeted a picture of the judges plus hosts Sandi Toksvig and Noel Fielding dressed as Derry Girls' Michelle, Erin and Clare plus Sr Michael.
It's a good effort all round, and a particularly strong showing from Paul Hollywood, but we'll wait for Lisa McGee to give the final verdict.
