BELFAST-based tech firm Kainos has secured an £8 million contract with HM Land Registry.

The IT group’s latest lucrative government contract will see it provide software development to HM Land Registry in support of its digital transformation programme.

The two-year contract, which went live in June, has just been announced in recent days.

It comes after the company announced it will repay all money it received under the UK Government’s furlough scheme.

Last week also saw Kainos director Paul Gannon cash in on a £10.98 share price. The senior business development executive sold another 400,000 shares, raising £4.4 million.

Mr Gannon still holds a 6.2 per cent stake in the company.
