THE White Gallery boutique, established 12 years ago in the village of Burren, outside Warrenpoint, by husband and wife Stephen and Rachel Morgan, has been chosen as the exclusive stockist in all Ireland of the Vivienne Westwood Made-to-Order bridal collection.

A capsule collection selected by the White Gallery from the Vivienne Westwood semi-couture collection is arriving this month and will sit alongside an exclusive array of international collections from labels such as Parisian ateliers, Rime Arodaky & Laure de Sagazan, New Zealand-based Rue De Seine and Halfpenny London.

Rachel Morgan said: “When we dreamt up the concept for the White Gallery, the vision was to create a modern and edgy bridal boutique for fashion-forward brides, with a USP of exclusivity.

“We already house some amazing labels from across the globe but to be selected as the first and exclusive stockist of the Vivienne Westwood Made-to-Order collection in Northern Ireland and Ireland is an incredible milestone.

“We’ve worked hard to grow the business and uncover the coolest, emerging talent in bridalwear, but to be invited to become the only stockist in Ireland of an international designer label’s bridal collection is a huge honour for the boutique. We know our brides will love the Vivienne Westwood collection as much as we do.”

The White Gallery (www.TheWhiteGalleryBoutique.co.uk) is synonymous with delivering an intimate and private wedding dress shopping experience.

Vivienne Westwood began designing in 1971 along with her then partner Malcolm McLaren in London. At the time they used their shop at 430 Kings Road, London, to showcase their ideas and designs.

By the end of the seventies Vivienne Westwood was already considered a symbol of the British avant-garde.

Vivienne Westwood is one of the last independent global fashion companies in the world. With a design record spanning more than 40 years, Vivienne Westwood is now recognised as a global brand and Westwood herself as one of the most influential fashion designers and activists in the world today.
