FASHION and homeware retailer, Matalan has confimed it will open at Belfast's CastleCourt shopping centre tomorrow.
Matalan is creating 50 jobs at the new 24,000 sq ft city centre store, housed within the former Toys R Us unit.
"With just a few days to go, we have a full team working around the clock so that we can welcome thousands of visitors to our newest city centre store in the UK and Ireland,” Matalan said in a statement.
“We can’t wait for customers old and new to see our exciting new quality clothing and homeware ranges all in one place in a fantastic location."
Michael Wright, director of asset management at Wirefox, which owns CastleCourt added:
“This is really great news for Belfast, CastleCourt and for Matalan, which is a big-name store with a varied and award-winning range of appealing products."
CastleCourt is one of the largest shopping centres in Northern Ireland, attracting more than 12 million visitors every year.
Founded in 1985, Matalan has grown to become of the UK’s largest retailers, with more than 250 local and international stores
Matalan’s big CastleCourt reveal takes place on Saturday at 10am.
