THE Specsavers store at Ferryquay Street in Derry has completed a £250,000 refurbishment scheme.

The optician has undergone an extensive refit and expansion programme and the facility now hosts five test rooms and a contact lens specialist zone as well as a new hearcare room.

The store, which extends over two floors, has recruited two additional staff and now employs 32 people.

The refit has been designed using Specsavers’ unique iHarmony technology which ensures customers have a seamless and stress-free journey through the store.

Staff are utilising digital precision eyecare, a cutting-edge way of selecting and fitting customers’ spectacles using imaging software on tablet devices.
