MORE than 25 firms from the north are in Geneva to explore opportunities through Cern, the European Organisation for Nuclear Research, the largest particle physics laboratory in the world, which has an annual procurement budget of £200 million. They attended a reception yesterday hosted by Invest NI and the Science & Technology Facilities Council to investigate business opportunities across a range of sectors including supplies and industrial services.
