SIR Elton John showed how he was still at the top of the music game on Friday night with his stunning concert at the SSE Arena, Belfast.
The living music legend was determined to include the city on his latest tour - and cause a little bit of controversy at the same time - and his loyal fans lapped it up.
“We cannot get to everyone but I am going to try to. Belfast has a special place in my heart, and that is why I have always returned to this wonderful city," he said before the show which was supported by Co Down born singer/songwriter Foy Vance.
