Alice Cooper will return to Ireland this November

THE golf-loving godfather of shock rock will return to Ireland this winter for a gig in Dublin.

Detroit-born singer and musician Vincent Damon Furnier (69) may be fast approaching his seventieth birthday and 50 years of trading as horror movie and Vaudeville-inspired alter ego Alice Cooper – that milestone is coming up in 2019 – but he shows no sign of slowing down as a live performer.

Backed by the three-guitar attack of Nita Strauss, Tommy Henriksen and Ryan Roxie along with longtime bassist Chuck Garric and drummer Glen Sobel, Alice will be bringing his considerable arsenal of rock favourites, live 'executions' (including fan favourite, the guillotine) and infeasibly large reptiles to 64 different cities on the Spend The Night With Alice Cooper tour, which stops off at Dublin's Olympia Theatre on November 8.

How many more one night stands has the Coop got left in him? Catch the show and judge his potency for yourself.
