JAKE O’Kane is heading out on the road again shortly with his new 'review of the year' stand-up show. Gaggin' On It finds the Belfast funnyman taking a satirical look back at what's been in the news here and elsewhere during 2015.

The Blame Game regular will utilise stories and photos to deliver his take on the people, places and politics that made up the past 12 months.

If you fancy finding out what's on Jake's mind as a post-Christmas pick-me-up, be quick about it: a pair of dates at regular hometurf haunt Crumlin Road Gaol on January 3 and 4 have already sold out, as has his January 22 show at Theatre at The Mill – clearly the people of Newtownabbey are more desperate for something to laugh about than ever.

The two Gaggin' On It preview shows at The Black Box in Belfast earlier this week were also sell-outs, but I am reliably informed that there are (at time of writing anyway) still tickets available for the comedian's Lisburn Island Arts Centre on Monday December 28, Armagh's Market Place Theatre on Tuesday 29 and his early New Year stop at Strule Arts Centre on January 9.

If you do miss out, don't despair: Jake is also playing January dates at the Braid in Ballymena (8), Millennium Forum, Derry (23), The MAC in Belfast (29 & 30), with yet more Gaggin' On It action to come in Belfast, Downpatrick and Enniskillen through February.
