The Stranglers, tonight, CQAF Marquee, Belfast, 7.45pm

THE Men in Black are back in Belfast tonight for a show at the CQAF's Marquee. Fronted by original bass thug JJ Burnel and 'new boy' (of 15 years) singing guitar man Baz Warne, punk survivors The Stranglers have never stopped touring despite line-up re-shuffles – Warne is the band's third lead singer – and recent health scares for 76-years-young drumming legend Jet Black.

Rather than just celebrating their not inconsiderable past glories, the Guildford group have also kept making new music: 2012's LP Giants, their 17th, was enthusiastically received by critics and fans alike.

Expect to hear tunes from that alongside classics like Peaches, No More Heroes, Duchess, Something Better Change, Always The Sun and Golden Brown. Support comes from Belfast's own rocksteady ska punks Aggressors BC, who are well worth arriving early doors to enjoy.
