Woman charged in connection with Derry shop robbery

Police investigating a robbery at a shop in Derry have charged a 32-year-old woman.

Officers arrested the woman following a report of a robbery at the shop in the city’s Earhart Park area on Sunday.

The woman has been charged with common assault, criminal damage, possession of firearm or imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, and robbery.

She will appear before Derry Magistrates Court on Tuesday, and all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
