Donegal GAA have confirmed that Aidan O'Rourke and Paddy Bradley will be on the sidelines for Donegal's final Allianz Football League Division One match against Roscommon on Sunday.

Donegal GAA confirmed in a short statement on Thursday morning that the pair, who were part of outgoing manager Paddy Carr's backroom team, will be in charge at Hyde Park:

"Aidan O'Rourke and Paddy Bradley will take charge of the squad for Sunday's Allianz League fixture with Roscommon in Hyde Park."

Former Armagh All-Ireland winner Aidan O'Rourke was appointed as Carr's assistant when the Fanad man was unveiled as Donegal's new manager in November. Former Derry forward Paddy Bradley was drafted in as forwards coach shortly after.

Carr announced he was resigning as Donegal manager on Wednesday afternoon. Donegal are all but relegated from Division One following last weekend's defeat to Mayo.

Donegal's next match after the trip to Roscommon will be their Ulster SFC quarter-final against Down in Newry on Sunday April 23.

It is the latest crisis to befall the county after Karl Lacey’s resignation as head of the county’s Academy was accepted last month.

A full county committee meeting is scheduled to be held tonight in Convoy, with clubs told on Tuesday that the Academy was the only item on the agenda. It remains to be seen whether the upheaval at senior level is added for discussion.
