ST COLM’S, DRUM: The club's order night for Christmas gear will take place at the clubhouse tonight from 7pm-9pm. A 50 per cent deposit is required on all gear. See the club's social media pages for further details.

Also, the club will be hosting a public meeting at 8pm on Friday, October 5 at the clubhouse. Please come along and give your comments, ideas and suggestion on our plans to extend our community hub facilities by creating a new fitness and wellbeing centre, Men Shed and Bicycle track in our grounds. This is your chance to have an influence on the future facilities for the physical and mental health and wellbeing of everyone in our community.

LAMH DHEARG: The club will be running a Couch to 5k, which starts on Saturday from 11am for 10 weeks. Registration £10 (U16s £5), 10.30am on first day. Contact Fra McKenna on 07557 681147. U14s must stay with their parents.

ST MARY’S, BURREN: The grand opening of the new community hub takes place at 10.30am on Saturday at St Mary’s Park.

CLANN EIREANN, LURGAN: Grimes and Mc Kee are back with their GAA-themed comedy ‘St Mungo's, Luganulk 2: The Umpire Strikes Back’ at Clann Eireann Hall St on Saturday. Show starts at 8pm sharp, tickets cost £12.50 and are available at the door, or you can contact Roger in advance on 07802 836799.

AN PORT MOR, ARMAGH: Club Port Mor will be hosting a 'Championship final Big Breakfast' in the sports complex on Sunday from 9-30am-1pm. The breakfast will be cooked by professionals and served by the players. Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy a hearty breakfast and wish the players the best of luck ahead of the junior final against Keady the following week. NA PIARSAIGH, ANNAGHMORE: The Annaghmore running festival - 5k, 10k, half-marathon and 18-miler – will take place from 10am on Saturday. The club is situated beside junction 12 on the M1, and is therefore fairly central for a large majority of runners. Register online through the Athletics NI website.

ST MOCHAI’S, DARRAGH CROSS: Irish classes will begin in the club on Tuesday, October 2 at 7.30pm. Free to take part, all welcome. Thanks to all our helpers and everyone who contributed to the charity coffee morning on Sunday. It was a great success, with over £1,500 being raised for Marie Curie.

Also, the dinner dance and presentation evening will take place in the club hall on Saturday, November 10.

GLASDRUMMAN: The new club merchandise from O’Neills is now on sale, and our Christmas order will be going on October 5. The final order night will be in the youth club on Monday, October 1 from 7pm-8pm. Check out the club Facebook page for the range of available merchandise. Please note that all orders must be paid for on the night.

Also, the new gym will be launched on Saturday from 10am-1pm. Membership is £10 per month and open to everyone in the community.

ST JOHN’S, DRUMNAQUOILE: On Saturday, October 13 the friends of Siobhan McCann will be holding a fundraising day. This will include a coffee morning from 10am-1pm, ladies’ sevens tournament beginning at 2pm and a night’s entertainment with live music. Auctions, raffles and donations on the day

ARDGLASS: Just over 12 months ago one of our committee members, Ambrose Kearney, suffered a heart attack and died at a wellbeing event being run by the club. In his memory, and to raise money for Chest, Heart and Stroke, the club has designed a new training top. They are available to purchase now, but will be officially launched on October 19.

ST JOHN’S, BELFAST: The club is celebrating its 90th birthday next year. A number of fundraising events have been organised to help with the celebrations.

Saturday, October 27, Hallowe’en fancy dress disco (over 18s); Sunday, October 28, Hallowe’en fancy dress for U12s from 4.30pm; Friday, November 30, ladies’ night in the function room. Anyone with photographs, stories, information etc which could be used in our commemoration magazine should bring them to Maria in The Chatterbox any Saturday between 10am and12.30pm.

Also, Saturday morning (form 10.30am-11.30am) is the final call for anyone wishing to order club gear for Christmas.
