CUMANN PHEADAR NAOFA, WARRENPOINT: This weekend will see the club come together to raise much-needed funds, with the first activity a 24-hour ‘move-a-thon’. There will be also be a ‘dance-a-thon’ and live Ceili tomorrow night, as well as a games morning in St Mark’s for all our U6-U14 teams on. The 24 hours will end with a final fun family hour from 5pm and a BBQ in the clubrooms.

The main source of fundraising will be through the use of sponsor cards, as each member will be given one with the aim of raising £50 each. Anyone who raises over £65 will get a pair of crested sports gloves in their size and anyone who raises over £100 will be entered into a draw to win a pair of football boots.

ST MOCHAI’S, DARRAGH CROSS: There will be a coffee morning in the club hall from 11am-2pm on Sunday. All proceeds are in aid of Marie Curie. Donations of bakes (none containing nuts please) are appreciated and can be left down first thing on.

Another date for the diary us this year’s dinner dance and presentation evening, which will be held on Saturday, November 10 in the club hall.

LAMH DHEARG: The executive committee cordially invites all mentors and volunteers to an appreciation night in the clubrooms on Saturday, September 29 at 8pm. The format of the evening will consist of a buffet and music. Hopefully you and your partner can attend as the committee is very appreciative of your valuable work and would like to acknowledge your commitment.

GLASDRUMMAN: The strategic five year plan consultation event is planned for Friday, October 5 at 7pm. Come along and have your say on the future of the club. Key areas to be discussed include coaching and games development, club structures and administration, finance and fundraising, facilities and development, communication/PR and culture. Everyone welcome. Refreshments will be provided.

ST PAUL’S, LURGAN: The annual 10k Road Race and 5k fun run will take place on Saturday, October 13th from 11am. Male and female categories. Everyone welcome.

ST BRONAGH’S, ROSTREVOR: Next year is the club’s centenary. Are you interested in getting involved or re-involved with the club, or continuing your current involvement? Have you any items of interest? Old newspaper clippings? Photographs? Programmes? Medals? Jerseys? Stories? Anecdotes? Memories? Videos of old matches? Anything that will help to enhance our celebrations?
