Irish Cup holders Crusaders will begin their defence at home to Championship side Dergview following Monday’s draw.

The Crues will take on the Co Tyrone side, who are currently bottom of the Championship, on Saturday January 7 at Seaview.

The draw produced just one all-Premiership tie with Carrick Rangers hosting last season’s beaten finalists Ballymena United.

League leaders Larne will host Crumlin United while Cliftonville must travel across Belfast to take on Dundela.

2020 cup winner Glentoran are also on the road as they are drawn away to Moyola Park while Linfield, who won the cup in 2021, will host Warrenpoint Town.

The Premiership’s bottom side Portadown face a Mid Ulster derby against Premier Intermediate side Banbridge Town while fellow strugglers Dungannon Swifts take on Ards at Stangmore Park.

The 2023 Irish Cup final will take place on Sunday, May 7.
