Danske Bank Premiership: Crusaders v Linfield (7.45pm); Newry City v Dungannon Swifts (7.45pm)

Linfield look to make up some of the ground lost on their Danske Bank Premiership challengers when they travel to Seaview to take on Crusaders.

The champions' European exploits have led to stop-start league campaign to date, but a win tonight would take them to within a point of early pacesetters Glentoran.

David Healy's men come into tonight's game on the back of Tuesday night's 5-1 League Cup win over M?oyola Park. Although their team that night featured a number changes from their last league outing - a 4-0 win over Ballymena a fortnight ago - it represents a return to form following their shock league defeat to Carrick Rangers.

Crusaders will be looking to bounce back from their surprise defeat to Championship side Dundela in Tuesday's League Cup first round tie.

Their league form has been patchy enough, with three wins, a loss and draw from their five games, putting them just a point ahead of tonight's opponents.

The Crues have already recorded a win over Linfield this season in the Charity Shield, but it was a much changed Blues side given their European commitments at the time.

Linfield have since gained a modicum of revenge, winning the Co Antrim Shield tie between the sides but Stephen Baxter's side won't make life easy for the visiting Blues.

Also tonight, Dungannon Swifts go in search of their first win over the league season when they travel to Newry City.

The south Down side needed a penalty shootout to get past Premier Intermediate side Limavady in the League Cup on Tuesday night, with young goalkeeper Niall Brady saving the vital spot kick.

They have one victory in the league so far, a 5-1 win away to Glenavon and that puts them three points ahead of tonight's visitors who have yet to get off the mark.

Swifts manager Dean Shiels will be the addition of new signing Gerardo Bruna can help turn the fortunes of the Tyrone team.

The Argentine midfielder has previously been on the books of Real Madrid and Liverpool and has had spells in Ireland with Derry City and Shelbourne.
