Danske Bank Premiership (all games today, 3pm)

Carrick Rangers v Coleraine

COLERAINE followed up their encouraging win over Crusaders with a home draw against Larne, leaving them five points adrift of the league leaders.

With Linfield clicking into gear and games in hand to play, Oran Kearney will be desperate for his side to take maximum points this afternoon.

Carrick may spend their season scrapping towards the bottom of the league, but as Warrenpoint found out recently they do carry a bite.

Odds: H: 7/2; D: 13/5; A: 4/6

Verdict: Coleraine

Institute v Ballymena United

BALLYMENA’S comeback win over Cliftonville last Saturday kept them in contention towards the top end of the table, while Institute got their first win of the season, putting three past hapless Warrenpoint.

With Carrick Rangers hosting Coleraine, Institute will see this as an opportunity to leapfrog their fellow strugglers and escape the relegation zone for the time being.

Ballymena’s top scorer Cathair Friel will have other ideas though.

Odds: H: 13/5; D: 5/2; A: 5/6

Verdict: Draw

Warrenpoint Town v Dungannon Swifts

WHERE do Warrenpoint go from here? Eight games, eight defeats, a goal difference of minus 26. Matters appear hopeless for the south Down side.

Dungannon broke their recent duck with victory over Carrick Rangers last Saturday and it’s hard to see past anything other than a Swifts procession here.

Odds: H: 12/5; D: 5/2; A: 10/11

Verdict: Dungannon
