PADRAIG McCrory could be in line for a world title fight against WBO super-middleweight champion Edgar Berlanga in Las Vegas, possibly on January 13.
Matchroom boss Eddie Hearn confirmed in Dublin that Belfast’s ‘Hammer’ is in the shake-up to fight the 21-0 New Yorker who beat Donegal’s Jason Quigley in June.
“He is in the mix,” said Hearn.
“If we’re looking at a guy from the top 15, I think he’s an exciting opponent (for Berlanga). It’s a good test, we’ll see.”
