MICHAEL Conlan’s next opponent is Argentina’s Luis Fernando Molina.
The Belfast bantamweight will face Molina (7-3-1) on December 12 on his return to the Madison Square Garden Theatre, the scene of his debut win over out-gunned Tim Ibarra in March this year.
Since then LA-based Conlan has raced to 4-0 with stoppage victories over Alfredo Chanez (in Chicago), Jarrett Owen (in Brisbane, Australia) and last month’s spectacular knockout of Kenny Guzman in Tucson.
Conlan has been assisting elder brother Jamie with his preparations for his IBF super-flyweight world title showdown against Jerwin Ancajas at the Odyssey Arena on November 18.
