JAMES Morgan returns to the Armagh starting line-up for tomorrow evening’s All-Ireland SFC Qualifying round 2B clash against Westmeath in Mullingar.

Morgan was his usual tenacious self in the Ulster SFC opener against Down and was impressive despite Armagh’s defeat on the day.

However, he missed last month’s round one Qualifier against Fermanagh, with Mark Shields deputising competently in his absence. This time around, Shields settles for a place on the bench.

Kieran McGeeney will be glad to have Morgan available in a side that is otherwise unchanged from that morale-boosting victory over the Ernemen at the Athletic Grounds.

Niall Grimley, who was the star of the show last time out, again starts at midfield alongside Stephen Sheridan, and he will be keen to stage a repeat of his kicking display against Fermanagh, when he racked up six points.

Up front, Ciaron O’Hanlon, Anthony Duffy and Rory Grugan again get the nod at half-forward, while Jamie Clarke, Andrew Murnin and Gavin McParland maintain their places on the full-forward line.

Stefan Campbell will be disappointed not to have secured a starting berth after his impressive display off the bench against Fermanagh. Campbell will once again take his place in a strong-looking substitute contingent, with Ciarán McKeever and Ethan Rafferty also ready to be sprung by McGeeney.

Armagh (All-Ireland SFC v Westmeath): B Hughes; A McKay, C Vernon, P Hughes; A Forker, B Donaghy, J Morgan; S Sheridan, N Grimley; C O’Hanlon, A Duffy, R Grugan; J Clarke, A Murnin, G McParland
