Rangers boss Mark Warburton hopes Josh Windass will be fit to face Aberdeen on Sunday despite the attacker missing Tuesday's win over Queen of the South with a hamstring worry.

Midfielder Jordan Rossiter remains unavailable with a calf strain but skipper Lee Wallace is refreshed after being rested for the Betfred Cup romp over Queens.

Striker Kenny Miller will feature despite being arrested in connection with an alleged brawl but Joey Barton is still serving a club suspension.

Provisional squad: Foderingham, Tavernier, Hill, Kiernan, Senderos, Crooks, Wilson, Wallace, Halliday, Kranjcar, Holt, Windass, Miller, McKay, Garner, Waghorn, Forrester, Dodoo, Hodson, Bates, O'Halloran, Gilks.
