GolfNow’s drive to seek out the best talent

After the success of Rory McIlroy, Graeme McDowell and Darren Clarke in recent years, Northern Ireland was coined the golfing capital of the world.

But long before their major triumphs on the biggest stage, leading tech firm GolfNow - with a base in Belfast - were climbing their way to the top of the international leaderboard for innovation.

Founded in 2001, GolfNow offers comprehensive and up-to-date information on available tee-off times at a wide range of golf courses in 16 countries worldwide, including Ireland, the UK and United States. This flourishing company was meanwhile named Best Company to Work by the Belfast Chamber of Trade and Commerce Business Awards in 2016, and again in 2017.

Keeping you informed about your favourite courses and introducing you to new ones, GolfNow’s easy and convenient online booking system has proven to be as essential as a trusty 3-wood for millions of players.

But GolfNow is not interested in standing still, and is always looking to improve on their excellent foundation. The firm is currently on the lookout for professionals with the vision to continually drive the company forward. Here, they offer the best advice on how to make the cut.

These are exciting times for the game of golf and those who love and live it. With GolfNow, we are driving forward and reshaping an entire industry – disrupting the status quo, creating innovative new web-based and mobile products, and assisting golf course operators to build profitable, sustainable businesses. In the UK and Ireland, more than 30 million rounds were booked in 2016 using BRS Golf, the technology that drives the GolfNow brand.

It’s a great time to be part of GolfNow, a truly global company. Although we value a “start-up spirit” and we have a feel of a small agile company, we can leverage all the benefits and resources of the international corporate community of NBCUniversal.
