Video: Ladies' footballers welcome new All Ireland series

GROUP stages will be used for the first time in the ladies' football All Ireland Championship.

The championship begins next month and will see four groups with three counties in each.

Ulster champions Donegal are in group 1, while Ulster final losers Armagh are in group 2.

Galway player Sinead Burke is among those who have hailed the changes.

"We're really looking forward to the new format," she said.
