Nama: Stormont finance department 'snubs' committee probe
A STORMONT committee chair has said it is an "insult" that the Department of Finance failed to send anyone to attend its inquiry into the Nama controversy.
The assembly's finance committee met today as part of its probe into allegations surrounding the £1.3bn Nama Northern Ireland property loan portfolio deal.
Sinn Féin committee chair Daithí McKay revealed the Department of Finance did not send representatives to the meeting despite being asked.
He described the response as "highly unusual" and one that he is noting "with concern"[...]
