PSNI says no paramilitary involvement in Cookstown shooting
THE PSNI says there is no indication of any paramilitary involvement in an attack in Co Tyrone where a man was shot in both legs.
Two men wearing balaclavas and camouflage jackets, one armed with a handgun, went into a house in Cookstown and threatened people before shooting the man.
The 35-year-old, named locally as David McElhone, remained in a stable condition in hospital on Monday following the attack at around 5.40pm on Sunday.
It is believed the shooting happened following a house party.
