Daithí McKay tells successor to finish Stormont probe into Nama debt sale
THE former head of Stormont's finance watchdog has urged his successor to complete the probe into the controversial sale of Nama's northern debt portfolio.
Daithí McKay said key questions remained unanswered about the bad bank's £1.25bn sale of Project Eagle to US vulture fund Cerberus.
The deal is the subject of a criminal investigation and parliamentary probes on both sides of the border.
The assembly's new finance committee is chaired by Emma Pengelly, whose husband was among those quizzed last year by MLAs as part of their inquiry.
