Police issue appeal over bike used in dissident murder
THE killer of Kevin Kearney in north Belfast may have approached him on a BMX-type bike, detectives have revealed. The 46-year-old was gunned down in broad daylight as he walked his two dogs through Alexandra Park last month. His body was found in a lake in the park a day later. In a statement to The Irish News, the dissident republican group calling itself "the IRA" claimed it shot the father-of-four, who was under-stood to have headed a drugs gang.
