AS Del Boy might say “He’s only gone and bleedin’ done it!” Yes, the leader of the Ulster Unionists, Mike Nesbitt has gone and pulled the rug from the cosy cartel that was once the Northern Ireland Executive. And his timing was immaculate. Just as Arlene and Martin were proclaimed as Queen and Prince Consort of Northern Ireland, Nesbitt stole the headlines. The double standards of those in the DUP and Sinn Féin in criticising the Ulster Unionists was breathtaking.
