Monday 24th September was a special day for the P4 class of Our Lady Of Lourdes Primary School, Greencastle as they got to experience an exclusive sneak peak of Dippy the dinosaur before opening to the public.
One lucky pupil Aine McGlinchey even got to place the last [toe] bone onto Dippy with Lorraine Cornish from the National History
Dippy the Natural History Museum’s iconic 26-metre-long Diplodocus cast arrived in Belfast fresh from Birmingham where a staggering figure of more than 255,000 visitors went to see him. His Belfast visit will be the only chance to see Dippy on the island of Ireland.
