Three men arrested after dogs entered private garden and killed fox

Three men have been arrested after CCTV footage captured a group of dogs entering a private garden and killing a fox that was trying to escape them.

Norfolk Police said officers were called shortly after 3.30pm on Monday to a report that the dogs had entered a private garden in the village of Hingham without permission and killed a fox.

Footage of the incident was posted online earlier this week by the Hunt Saboteurs Association.

Police said on Friday that three men have been arrested following inquiries and have been taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

Two men aged in their 20s from the Swaffham area have been arrested on suspicion of hunting a wild mammal with dogs, criminal damage and having a dog dangerously out of control.

A man aged in his 60s from the Beccles area has been arrested on suspicion of hunting a wild mammal with dogs and having a dog dangerously out of control.

The three men remain in custody.

Norfolk Police said that additional inquiries are being conducted as a result of an incident earlier this month at Tittleshall.
