EMERGENCY services remain at Cavehill in north Belfast following a report of an incident at the popular visitor spot.
A PSNI spokesperson said officers attended after receiving a report on Thursday evening of "concern for the safety of an individual in the vicinity of Cavehill Country Park".
They added: "Access to the park is restricted at this time and members of the public are asked to avoid the area."
A UK Coastguard helicopter was seen arriving in the area.
