Translink investigating Metro bus crash in north Belfast

Translink is investigating a crash involving a Metro bus and three other vehicles in north Belfast.

Video footage emerged on Saturday showing the aftermath of the crash. The front of the pink bus was heavily damaged as well as the two other cars seen in the clip.

One of the vehicles is also seen to have smashed into a wall in front of a row of terraced houses.

The PSNI said it received a report of a four-vehicle road traffic collision at Cliftonville Road area shortly before 7.25am on Saturday, but said there were no reports of any serious injuries.

A Translink spokesperson added: "We can confirm an incident occurred involving a Metro bus on the Cliftonville Road around 7.30am on Saturday, May 27. There were no reported injuries at the scene. 

“A Translink investigation is underway, and we will also assist the PSNI with their investigations into the incident."
