POLICE investigating suspected criminality linked to the East Belfast UVF have charged a 38-year-old man with drugs offences.
The man was arrested following a search in the Dundonald area on Tuesday by officers from the multi-agency Paramilitary Crime Task Force.
A PSNI spokesperson said he has been charged with possession of class A and C controlled drugs, possession of class A and C controlled drugs with intent to supply, and possessing criminal property.
He is due to appear before Newtownards Magistrates Court on June 13, and all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
