Appeal after cash machine robbed in Co Derry

POLICE are appealing for information after cash was stolen from an ATM in Co Derry.

The machine at a service station on Feeney Road in Dungiven was targeted at around 12.25am on Monday.

It is thought a group of masked men broke the side door of the machine before making off with a sum of cash around 10 minutes later.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "We are appealing to anyone who was in the area between around this time and saw what happened, or who has information which could assist our investigation to call us on 101 and quoting reference 555 08/02/2."
