Man charged with attempted murder after knife attack on PSNI officers

A man has been charged with attempted murder after a police officer was stabbed in the neck and another received a cut to the face in a knife attack in Belfast.
The charges relate to an incident in which the officers were attacked at an address on the Ormeau Road in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The officer who was stabbed in the neck was hospitalized for his injuries.
A 22-year-old man is set to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court today.
As is usual procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
