Woman charged in connection with suspected drugs seizures

A 34-year-old woman has been charged after a quantity of suspected drugs were seized by police during searches.

The suspected Class A and B drugs were recovered following the searches of four properties by the PSNI's Organised Crime Branch in Belfast, Portadown and Hillsborough.

A quantity of cash was also seized along with mobile phones.

Following her arrest, the woman was charged with a number of offences including being concerned in the supply of Class A controlled drugs, transferring criminal property, and being in possession of Class A and Class B controlled drugs.

She is due to appear before Lisburn Magistrates' Court on February 27.

All charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
