One taken to hospital following west Belfast fire
ONE person has been taken to hospital following a fire at a property in west Belfast.
A blaze in the La Salle Park area was reported to emergency services shortly after 6pm on Wednesday.
A spokesperson for the NI Fire and Rescue Service said three fire appliances were called to the scene.
"Firefighters using breathing apparatus and other specialist equipment quickly brought the incident under control and rescued one person from within the building," the spokesperson said.
There were no reports of any other injuries.
The spokesperson added: "The cause of the fire is under investigation."
