A portrait of the former Belfast Lord Mayor Deirdre Hargey has been formally unveiled at City Hall.
The painting was completed by Irish artist Catherine Creaney.
After serving as Belfast's first citizen between 2018-19, Sinn Féin's Ms Hargey is now MLA for South Belfast and recently stepped down as Minister for Communities.
Belfast City Council remains the only local authority to routinely commission portraits, reported to cost nearly £200,000 since 2005, with Ms Hargey's portrait said to have cost £13,000.
Following more than a century of tradition, the painting is now on public display alongside other portraits.
