Two men arrested over Newry murder of Mark Lovell

Police investigating the murder of Mark Lovell in Newry have arrested two men.

The 58-year-old was gunned down in the Ardcarn Park area on December 1. The killing has been linked to a bitter feud.

The arrests follow searches of properties in the Newry area this morning, Wednesday 7 December.

The two men, aged 45 and 40, were arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody at this time.

On Tuesday a reward of up to £20,000 for information about the murder of Mr Lovell was offered by Crimestoppers.
