Police Ombudsman witness appeal to Newtownards incident

THE Police Ombudsman has appealed for witnesses to an incident in Newtownards to come forward.
A spokesman said it relates to an incident in the Glenbrook Road area of the town on September 6, which involved a "large number of police vehicles and officers".
It also involved a member of the public and took place at around midday outside a house.
A Police Ombudsman spokesperson said: "We are appealing for witnesses who may have seen a man and a large number of police vehicles and officers in the area at around that time.
"We are particularly keen to speak with anyone who may have recorded mobile phone footage or have dashcam footage of the incident.
