Police appeal as two teens struck by car in west Belfast

POLICE have appealed for witnesses as two teenagers were treated in hospital after being struck by a car in west Belfast.

The collision involving a grey Vauxhall Astra car occurred shortly before 6pm on the Andersonstown Road, close to the entrance to Andersonstown Leisure Centre.

A PSNI spokesperson said the two teenage boys were treated in hospital, while the driver of the car was spoken to at the scene by police.

"Enquiries are ongoing and officers would ask anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have captured dash-cam footage, to contact them at Woodbourne station on 101, quoting reference number 1702 31/10/22," the spokesperson said.
