Detectives investigating the murder of a 44-year-old man in Antrim have been granted extra time to detain a man on suspicion of murder.

Liam Christie, who was a father-of-three, was shot multiple times in his home in the Ballycraigy estate last Thursday.

Police were today given an extension to detain a 44-year-old man arrested on suspicion on murder until 1pm on Thursday.
