Pedestrian dies after Aughnacloy collision
A pedestrian has died following a single vehicle road traffic collision in Aughnacloy, Co Tyrone.
Sergeant Green said the incident involved a pedestrian and occurred on the Tullyvar Road. It was reported just before midnight on Monday evening.
The man, who was in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road has since reopened.
Police investigating the crash have appealed for any witnesses who may have seen the man walking on the road between approximately 11.00pm and midnight, or anyone who may have captured dashcam footage, to get in touch by calling 101, quoting reference CW 1978 – 26/09/22.
