DOUBLE Olympic gold medallist Kelly Holmes has paid a surprise visit to Stormont.
The winner of the 800 metres and 1,500 metres from Athens in 2004 joined close to 200 runners, walkers and volunteers at the weekly parkrun.
The 5k event takes place within the trails and main drive of Stormont estate.
It was Holmes' second trip to the north in recent weeks having taken part at another parkrun at Queen's Sport in Belfast.
