Police have arrested four men under the Terrorism Act as part of an investigation into the activities of the New IRA.

The men, aged 62, 51, 30 and 27, were arrested in Belfast this morning.

A number of properties have been searched as part of the operation.

The PSNI said the four men have been taken to the Serious Crime Suite in Musgrave Police Station for questioning.
